In it together

We read the book 'In it together' and discussed what it feels like to learn from home and how are they feeling about coming back to school when we open

We inquired into 'c' sound

We read curly caterpillars

Learners were very busy cutting and hiding their curly caterpillar around their house. They practiced saying the sound 'c' as they looked around for their curly caterpillars

We read 'The Cautious Caterpillar'

Why was the caterpillar worried?

Did she always want to be a caterpillar? 

Learners retold the story by sequencing the story cards.

We played a positional game and it was a fun morning. We practiced saying in, on under, at and beside and practiced placing our teddy in different places

Summative assessment time!

I showed them all the pictures of their learning from the time they were in school and started online learning. Learners were able to make some connections and talk about their learning. They remembered planting beans and traveling to different countries in our role play area. One of the best learning days we will always remember.

As a challenge, we created our own robots
