Udon Thani International School (UDIS) inspires internationally-minded, balanced learners who thrive and become active, global citizens.
This week we focused on similarities and differences.
We discussed and looked in the mirror to see what we look like and what are the similarities. We also talked about our families and drew a picture of who is in our family.
Learners made some deep connections during our face to face learning. They were able to say how many people are there in their families

Communication and Language
We focused on 'P' sound and did lots of different activities around it.
We read 'The 3 Little Pigs'
We made our own houses using sticks, straws, and legos/boxes to retell the story.
We also reviewed all the sounds s'a't'p
We read 'Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs' as part of our T4W
We made our own Dinosaur stories and posted them on Tapestry.
We counted actions or objects which cannot be moved.
We also created Leaves number line and decorated them in our rooms

Sort the numbers before they vanish! Freeze numbers in water to make numbered ice cubes, then ask the children to order the numbers in an ice tray before they melt away. A great way to build their number sense with a sensory touch.
