We read and listened to The Crayon Box That Talked. We talked about the morale of the book.

Why is it important to be kind? Why the rest of the crayons didn't like the colour red?

Learners were asked to create a picture using just one crayon and then adding the rest of the colours to see the big picture and what ut feels like to work together and play cooperatively.

Inquire and find out letter sound ‘i’ 

We read Inky mouse story and stressed the sound 'i'

Learners made their own Inky mouse and watch Phonics with Ms Phibz's video.

We read  as part of the T4W session. 

- We counted 10 dinosaurs 

- Created our favourite dinosaurs and played hide and seek just like in the book. 

We reviewed all our shapes and played several games

We also made dinosaurs and played shape detectives by creating our own shape finders.

This week we read and listened to 'The little rainbow' on Vooks

We talked about the colours in the rainbow and created our own using whatever materials we had at home.

	Related activities In the story, ‘Stop Telling Fibs!’, there are lots of animals. Can you think of an animal and give clues to an adult to see if they can guess the animal? Play Based learning activities to try at home (Optional)

		Memory Game:  Collect ten small objects from around the house and put them on a tray. Ask the other person to look away while you take away one object. Following the news that School may be allowed to re-open from Monday 1st June, we wish to inform you of how this will work within EY. หลงจากไดรบแจงวาโรงเรยนอาจจะไดรบอนญาตใหเปดเรยนอกครงในวนท 1 มถนายน ทางโรงเรยนจงตองการแจง ใหทานผปกครองทราบ เกยวกบวธการปฎบตการของแผนกอนบาล 

Firstly, the K1 class will be split into two groups. Ms Oil and Ms Goy will teach one group in the soft playroom while Ms Phibz and Ms Noon teach the second group in the K1 classroom. A rotation will be applied and your child will go straight to whichever classroom they are working in on any given day. You will be informed of which group your child is in. Ms Phibz will be ‘popping in’ to the group working with Ms Oil via Google Meet to monitor learning. This procedure will limit the chances of cross-contamination between groups. Secondly, we will require Preschool and K1 children to be collected by 1 pm. This is to limit contact and potential transmission of any virus or disease that children may be carrying. Please note that children can still be carrying COVID-19 even if they are not displaying any symptoms. In addition, children will have outdoor breaks on rotation and lunch will take place within classrooms. This is to limit the contact between different groups of children so that the spread of any virus only within one group, if any child is found to be infected. This also means that resources, including adults, will not be shared between groups.
