This week in UOI
We started having a lot of discussions about plants and how they grow. We have started looking at the life cycle.
- Went on an excursion around to see our school garden.
- Designed our own garden. Expressed our interest in what we want in our garden.
- We started watering our plants and transferring them into pots.
- Feeling the soil and discussed what do we need to do next?
This week we traveled to China
- We looked at the map of China.
- We also watched some informative videos about China and how people live there. Similarities and differences. We found out that China has the highest population in the whole world.
- We made some spaghetti and used chopsticks.
Thank to you Saen's mum for sharing the customs and traditions about China. We had lots of fun.
- She showed how to make won tons and of course we all enjoyed eating them.
- We had lots of fun playing the drum and doing the lion dance.
In mathematics
We are superheroes in counting
- We played Draw and build a number
- Bingo numbers
Find the missing numbers.
In literacy,
- We read ' Treasure in the garden' We did a book walk and discussed the picture of a garden.
