Mystery readers

A gentle reminder to parents to please sign up for our Mystery readers. It is a great opportunity for our learners to see their parents being involved in their learning.

Please let me know if you are interested!

This week in K1, we have been  Communicators. We are learning to listen to and share in the classroom.

In math and literacy, we have been

Practising counting 1-5 and 1-10
- Matching objects correctly

- listening to finger rhymes and creating our own finger families and homes. We also counted how many people we have in our house.

We also read 'The enormous turnip' as part of talk for writing session.

Every week we have ' Creative Thursday' as a voice and choice from our students. They are given a chance to decide what they like doing? Which area of learning in the classroom they really enjoy? What do they want to change?

We are starting this as our routine and this week, children were very independent choosing their own learning. Here are a few pictures.

Important Note:

In UOI our focus is to understand our uniqueness by making connections. Please encourage your child to talk about what they really like about themselves. It can also be in Thai.

You can send us the information through Tapestry or write in our communication books as well.

Please fill in the ' About Me' section on Tapestry. It will give us a better idea about likes and dislikes about your child.
