Our field trip to 'The Natural Rubber Plantation'
This field trip was a great connection to our current Unit of Inquiry ' How the world works' within the central idea of
Materials behave and interact in certain ways, which determine how people use them.
Students were able to see the process of rubber plantation. They experienced feeling the stages of how rubber is produced. We also had the opportunity to plant rubber tree. Students were quite amused and excited to dig in the soil. Here are a few pictures of our experience yesterday.
In literacy and mathematics, we continued listening to 'The three little pigs' and 'patterns
- We listened to the story and then illustrated what we heard in the story
- We practiced AB, ABCD, AABB patterns
