This week we started our swimming classes and it was a hit. Students were excited to go into the pool.
Please don't forget to bring swimming caps, towel and swimsuit every Wednesday.
It's an International Week at UDIS.
For the International week, we selected Ghana a West African country in Early Years, upon which the learning was based this week. Students learned a great amount about Ghana and different countries around the world. We coloured flags, made Moon Mask and Kente Cloth crafts to represent the culture in Ghana and most of all we practised our dance for the performance. Hope you all enjoyed watching the children on the stage!
This week in UOI...
Apprenticeship discussion with the students. They chose the people they want to visit next week at school.
We stressed out the word Community in our learning this week. We reviewed our classroom Essential Agreements.

We continued working on our Phonics and recognizing letters in our name this week
