Sports Day

Ready, steady, go!

UDIS Sports Day was held on Friday 15th February and was a great success for all involved.

All the students participated in different events such as Rally race, ball races and many more. There was great excitement from parents and students alike.

This week we started our new Unit of Inquiry " How We Organise Ourselves" 

Central idea:  People play different roles in the communities to which they belong.

                              

Lines of Inquiry:   

• Various communities we belong to (form)

• Roles of people who are part of our communities (function)

• How communities are organized (responsibility)

We have been talking about Community and People who help us

Students have been tunning in their prior knowledge of what they want to be when they grow up

It was interesting to see that they are aware of important people in our community that help us provide food, help when there is fire and help to catch bad people

Meanwhile, in literacy, we have been practicing writing our name and work on our phonics every day for 15 minutes

Special announcement

From the 4th - 8th March it will be International Week at UDIS.

During this week the EY children will be learning about the African country of Ghana.

On Friday 8th March the children will be performing a Ghanian dance. For this they will need to wear a special costume. Please see the photographs on the back of this letter to help you put together your child‘s costume.

The costumes need to be colourful!

ใน วันศุกร์ที่ 8 มีนาคม เด็ก ๆ จะได้เต้นรำแบบกาเนียน ในการนี้พวกเขาจะต้องสวมชุดพิเศษ

โดยโปรดดูรูปถ่ายที่แนบมาพร้อมจดหมายนี้ เพื่อให้ท่านช่วยแต่งตัวให้กับเด็ก ๆ

เครื่องแต่งกายจะต้องมีสีสัน!
