In Literacy...
The 3 Little Pigs
Our story of the week this week was The 3 Little Pigs. We have been enjoying reading and retelling the story.
We have been retelling the story with different materials and trying to build the houses for the wolf to blow down.
Some of us decided to build the straw, stick and brick house and try to act out the story.
In Math
This month we will be learning about measurement
This week students were given opportunities to explore different measuring tools in the classroom.
We also watched a video on Youtube on MEASUREMENT
Next week in Maths we will find out how tall we are by using yarn as a measuring tool and we will also be making pancakes in the classroom.
In UOI..
We have been finding out about boxes and what can we do with a BOX.
In K1, we have been reading 'Not a box' this week to provoke the imagination.
Students have been very creative and came up with different things they could make.
Show and Tell
This term we’re introducing ‘show and tell’ into our timetable.
This will give the children the opportunity to use their communication skills to talk about something they bring in from home.
Please only bring 1 item into school for each session.
