We were celebrating book week event this week . K1 were encouraged to read and demonstrated the value of talking about books to promote theirs reading through many exited activities.

We set up props outside area to take students on a story adventure " We're going on a bear hunt"

We're going on a bear hunt. We're going to catch a big one. What a beautiful day! We're not scared

Uh-Oh! Glass ! Long, Wavy grass. 

We can't go over it or under it. We've to go through it!!

Uh-Oh! A River ! A Deep, Cold River. 

We can't go over it or under it. We've to go through it!!

Uh-Oh! A Mud ! Thick, Oozy mud.

Uh-Oh! A Forest ! A big, dark forest.

Uh-Oh! A Snowstorm! A Swirling, whirling snowstorm. 

We can't go over it or under it. We've to go through it!!

Uh-Oh! A Cave!! A Narrow, Gloomy Cave

We can't go over it or under it. We've to go through it!!

Tiptoe ! Tiptoe! Tiptoe! What's  that? 

One shiny wet nose. Two big furry ears. Two big googly eyes. 

It's A Bear !!!!!
